"SCARFACE 42" call sign of the author, a veteran of 1140 combat missions is a compilation of selected factual actions of USMC Helicopter Squadron HML-367 during the author's tour in Vietnam during 1969-70. Events include super secret missions in Laos, rescue operations of downed aircraft crews, attack missions using the firepower of the squadron's deadly UH-1 Hueys, AH-1G Huey Cobras, and day to day activities of a Marine helicopter squadron in combat. The fun, comraderie, the tragedies, and the heroics that occurred are reflected in the esprit d'corps of the squadron.

"Robby Robinson gets it right in this book. Reading these stories brought back many memories of the best of times and the worst of times.
It's a fitting tribute to a great squadron and the finest men with whom I was ever privileged to serve."
General Mike Williams, USMC, Retired (former Assistant Commandant, United States Marine Corps)

"Robby Robinson is a good story teller. He makes you aware of the detailed coordination required for successful air operations to save wounded Marines, and to insert, extract and resupply them. His job was to support these operations by providing gun and rocket attacks in a Huey gunship and then the more lethal Cobra gunships. The reader will enjoy this close up and personal glimpse of a year in the life of a Marine combat helicopter pilot."
Robert Wefald, Captain, USNR, Retired
